Bertrand Charter Township Treasurer Kuhn is requesting that payments be made by mail or at our township drop off box .  Treasurer Kuhn will be available by phone or make an appointment to discuss any tax issues.

Payments may also be received at the Township during normal business hours (9 am to 4 pm) Monday through Thursday or the drop box may be used after hours. The Township Treasurer will also be available on Tuesday December 23, 2025, and Tuesday March 2, 2026, from 9 am to 4 pm for your convenience.

Tax Payments can be made by check, money order or cash.  We don’t accept credit cards.

• All Late Summer and Winter Tax payments from February 17thru February 28 are subject to 3 percent late penalty. 
• Please contact Berrien County Treasurer’s Office if paid on or after March 2, 2025.

All delinquent real and personal property tax bills for 2024 or previous years must be paid to the “Berrien County Treasurer”.  Please contact the County Treasurer at 269-983-7111 ext. 8569 to determine payoff amounts or status of outstanding taxes.
